Pete Cannia
Pete is a dedicated Master Rower, with a lifetime of athletic experience. At 48 years young, he competes at a National level and is renowned for his intensive workouts. A competitive cyclist in the 80's and early 90's, he joined the Lake Merritt Rowing Club at the urging of his wife. As a member of the Lake Merritt Rowing Club, he learned the art of Sculling from DeDe Birch who was the sculling coach at that time. Rowing led to lot's of new friends and his affiliation with Team Nitro. He has been married to his wife Renee for 22 years and has two beautiful daughters, Annalise and Nina (look for them in the Olympics someday soon). His favorite place in the world to row is Lake Tahoe, California. The thin air and the clear water makes his boat fly...so he say's Pete is currently the Men's and Woman's Competitive Crew Coach for the Rio Salado Rowing Club in Arizona. He also teaches sculling for the Tempe Parks and Recreation Department in Tempe, Arizona as well private lessons. His crews and students have recorded high placing as well as personal best in Nationally attended regatta's such as USRA Master's National Championships, San Diego Crew Classic, and the Head of the Charles River.

Dear Nitro Nutrition:
Congratulations on a truly superior product. As a 48 year old Master athlete, with a full time job and family responsibilities, making the most of the training time available and avoiding setbacks is of the utmost importance. Nitro products, combined with a sound nutritional program, give me the ability to train at the intensity necessary to compete at a national level and reduce the time needed to recover from a workout. The results exceeded my expectations. I look forward to continued success utilizing Nitro products for many years to come.

Sincerely,
Peter Cannia Master Rower
